"Mitchell Prepares For Wild West Shootout"

(Texarkana, Texas)The 2007 Arkansas Motorsports Professionals Series Champion Jon "Catman" Mitchell is preparing to run his Black, White, and Red #5 GRT by Catman Super Late Model at the Wild West Shootout at Central Arizona Speedway, which is a 3/8 mile clay oval located southeast of Phoenix, Arizona.

The Wild West Shootout will take place on January 12, for a $3000 to win show, January 13, for a $5000 to win show, January 16, for a $3000 to win show, January 19, for a $3000 to win show, and January 20, for a $7500 to win show! For more information, visit http://www.centralazraceway.com/

Jon is looking forward to kicking off his 2008 Racing Season and when asked about this trip, he stated "I hope we can go down there and get us a couple of wins. It would be really good to kick the season off like that."

Jon placed in the Top 5 numerous times last season in the AMP Late Model Series, until a tire brand change launched him into Victory Lane more than 3 times in the latter part of the season, and catapulting him into the points lead, and eventually helping him be named the Inaugural Points Champion of the AMP Late Model Series.
